Job summary

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue cycle and reimbursement data, identify denial trends and underpayments, investigate revenue leakage and billing inaccuracies, and develop actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Support payer appeals, evaluate charge capture and billing workflows, assist with system and process improvements, and monitor regulatory and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with Patient Accounting, HIM/Coding, CDI, Registration, Informatics, Finance, and other stakeholders to strengthen reimbursement and revenue cycle performance.

This specialized role analyzes reimbursement, denials, charge capture, billing workflows, payer requirements, and financial performance to identify revenue opportunities, reduce financial risk, and improve revenue cycle processes.In This Role, You WillYou will analyze revenue cycle and reimbursement data, identify denial trends and underpayments, investigate revenue leakage and billing inaccuracies, and develop actionable recommendations for leadership. An associate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, HIM, HIT, or a related field is preferred, along with three years of progressive hospital revenue cycle experience.
