Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a Director of Reimbursement Strategy to lead enterprise-wide reimbursement initiatives, optimize financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance across care settings.

You will oversee reimbursement analytics, develop dashboards and scorecards, and collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Managed Care, Finance, HIM, CDI, Compliance, IT, and Operations to capture entitled reimbursement and improve payer performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred in a related field.
• Seven years of healthcare reimbursement/finance experience with leadership background.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise reimbursement strategy across the health system.
• Lead reimbursement analytics, monitoring, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Managed Care, Finance, HIM, CDI, Compliance, IT, and Operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer requirements.
• Oversee reimbursement performance and initiatives to improve outcomes.
