Qualifications

• Understanding hospital revenue cycle operations and claim processing.
• Experience with denial management and payer requirements.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify opportunities.
• Preferred certifications include CHRI, RHIT/RHIA, CPC, CCS, CRIP, CRCR, CRCP, CHFP.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue cycle and reimbursement data, identify denial trends and underpayments, investigate revenue leakage and billing inaccuracies, and develop actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Support payer appeals, evaluate charge capture and billing workflows, assist with system and process improvements, and monitor regulatory and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with Patient Accounting, HIM/Coding, CDI, Registration, Informatics, Finance, and other stakeholders to strengthen reimbursement and revenue cycle performance.
