Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patient accounts
• Obtain initial authorization when required while complying with confidentiality
• Enter coordination notes and inform Payor Change Moves Specialists of payor changes
• Communicate with Revenue Recovery and branch staff about coverage and liability
• Assist in collecting client and payor information for accuracy
• Work to reduce write-offs by timely verification and authorization
