Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in health information/finance fields.
• 3 years of experience in revenue integrity, revenue cycle, coding, billing or related healthcare function.
• Experience using Epic in hospital/ambulatory revenue cycle.
• Knowledge of hospital/professional billing workflows, denials, payer requirements.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis; ability to present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor revenue integrity across hospital services and clinics.
• Review charge capture, coding, documentation, billing and claim-edit workflows.
• Analyze Epic workqueues, reports, and edits to investigate exceptions.
• Conduct audits and data validation for charge reconciliation and claim accuracy.
• Assess compliance with payer requirements and federal/state billing regulations.
• Support CAH- and RHC-specific reimbursement workflows and encounter routing.
• Collaborate with departments to maintain charge reconciliation controls.
• Identify root causes of denials and variances; recommend corrective actions.
