Job summary

Uber’s Revenue Platform team is hiring an Application Developer II to design, develop, and support financial applications covering Order-to-Cash, revenue accounting, billing, AR, payment, settlement, and reconciliation. You’ll partner with Finance, Product, Engineering, and Operations to translate business needs into scalable solutions and production-ready systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing, implementing, configuring, analyzing, or supporting enterprise applications and financial systems.
• Strong experience with financial systems, accounting systems, ERP platforms, or revenue and settlement applications.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Ability to translate complex business and accounting requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise financial processes such as month-end close and financial controls.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to build agents, skills, or automated workflows that streamline business processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and enhance financial applications and integrations supporting the Order-to-Cash lifecycle.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
• Analyze processes, system workflows, and data to identify gaps and opportunities for automation.
• Develop clear business and technical requirements, user stories, and solution designs.
• Build and maintain system configurations, integrations, automation, and data-processing solutions.
• Use SQL and large datasets to perform financial analysis, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Lead or support system integration testing, UAT, production deployment, and post-production validation.
• Investigate production issues and coordinate with teams to resolve.
• Support month-end close, financial controls, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
• Drive complex cross-functional financial systems initiatives from requirements to rollout.
