Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a results-driven Business Office Manager to lead revenue cycle operations in a skilled nursing facility. You will drive cash collections, manage accounts receivable aging, and ensure accurate financial operations, working closely with the billing team to submit claims and resolve issues.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and proactive collaboration across departments to support regulatory compliance and optimal revenue cycle

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in a long-term care business office or related healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care payers.
• Understanding Medicaid eligibility requirements and the application process.
• Professional and tactful communication with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for handling multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel); healthcare billing or electronic systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily business office operations including census, deposits, and cash posting.
• Manage private pay collections, resident trust accounts, and Medicaid eligibility processes.
• Collaborate with billing team to support accurate and timely submission of insurance claims and resolution of billing issues.
• Drive cash collections and reduce accounts receivable aging; ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
