Job summary

Saber-Healthcare Group is seeking a results-driven Business Office Manager to lead revenue cycle operations in our skilled nursing facility. You will oversee daily business office activities, drive cash collections, and ensure compliance with Medicaid/Medicare processes.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, highly organized, and collaborative across departments. The role partners with billing to resolve insurance issues and optimize financial performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a long-term care business office or healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of health insurance payers (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care).
• Understanding Medicaid eligibility and application process, including follow-up.
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and partners.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel; healthcare billing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive cash collections and reduce AR aging.
• Oversee daily business office operations and accuracy/compliance.
• Support accurate and timely submission of insurance claims with billing team.
• Manage census, daily deposits, and cash posting.
• Oversee resident trust accounts and Medicaid eligibility processes.
