Job summary

Compass Surgical Partners is seeking an Analyst, Revenue Cycle Management & Managed Care to support financial and operational performance across its ambulatory surgery center portfolio. You’ll work with Revenue Cycle Management, Managed Care, Finance, and Corporate Development to translate complex data into actionable business insights and drive reimbursement optimization.

The ideal candidate has strong healthcare revenue cycle experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to leverage

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, managed care, reimbursement analysis, healthcare finance, or a closely related analytical function.
Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including claims, payment posting, denials, collections, and accounts receivable.
Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain reporting on revenue cycle performance, including accounts receivable, collections, denials, aging, and reimbursement trends.
Identify performance gaps and emerging risks, providing actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
Analyze denial patterns, payment variances, and collection trends to identify root causes and opportunities for improvement.
Monitor key revenue cycle metrics and provide timely insights to operational leadership.
Analyze payer contracts, reimbursement rates, fee schedules, and payment methodologies to evaluate financial performance.
Develop financial models supporting payer contract negotiations, renewals, and reimbursement changes.
Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations for business and operational leaders.
Support ad hoc analytical requests related to portfolio performance and strategic initiatives.
Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to accelerate data analysis and improve reporting efficiency.
