Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services in the United States is seeking a Reimbursement Supervisor to plan for and manage the Specialist positions, involving initial intake, billing, and collections requirements. Will cultivate an environment of outstanding customer service as the company's voice in all interactions with franchise partners, payers, and patients.

You will supervise Reimbursement Specialists, optimize staffing to meet KPIs, and mentor staff in billing accuracy and claims workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
• 2–3 years infusion setting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience.
• Knowledge of CareTend and RCM Portal.
• Knowledge of payer compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team in processing new patient referrals, insurance benefits investigation and verifications, prior authorizations, billing, and collections.
• Manage Reimbursement Specialist schedules to reallocate resources to meet KPIs.
• Serve as an escalation agent for franchise partner or patient complaints.
• Implement and maintain operating procedures for quality and compliance.
• Monitor results for quality, productivity, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Payor/Benefit programs to resolve missing claims and escalations.
• Mentor staff in customer service and collection techniques.
• Balance workloads and coach on billing and authorizations.
• Audit transactions for accuracy and escalate as needed.
• Interview, train, and assign department associates; communicate metrics.
