Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. (SIS) seeks a Billing Manager to lead the Billing and Accounts Receivable department, ~20 staff, and own end-to-end revenue cycle, including high-volume billing, collections, and cash management.

On-site leadership in Culver City, CA with a focus on process improvement and KPI governance. The role requires 7+ years in billing/AR, 2+ years in people management, ASC 606 experience, and advanced Excel, with proficiency in Sage, Salesforce, and Workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
• 7+ years of comprehensive experience spanning both client billing and Accounts Receivable management.
• 2+ years in direct management with hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with asset-based lending/borrowing base bank reporting.
• Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles as they apply to billing and receivables.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Billing and AR team of ~20 staff.
• Approve invoices, billing adjustments, credit memos, and cash applications.
• Establish KPIs across the revenue cycle and drive performance to targets.
• Direct collections and escalation strategies for past-due accounts.
• Oversee SAP integration projects with Sage, Salesforce, and Workforce Management platforms.
