Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Workforce Optimization Manager for the Foundation Revenue Cycle to lead centralized workforce planning, forecasting, and scheduling. The role drives data-driven decisions to optimize intra-day performance and service levels across the system.

The successful candidate will analyze volumes, establish staffing models, and report workload trends to management while coordinating with various teams to maximize efficiency and support patient growth strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related experience.
• AA plus 3 additional years of experience may substitute for minimum education.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes volumes, trends, and work assignments monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Ensures staffing models include accurate and updated information.
• Captures, stores, and reports historical statistics with root-cause analyses.
• Reports workload trends and staffing requirements to management.
• Forecasts calls/chats and determines staffing using workforce management software and internal data sources.
• Communicates necessary adjustments to workforce requirements based on forecasts.
• Oversees scheduling of training, meetings, and overtime to manage shrinkage.
• Maintains department attendance and time-off policies.

Education

AA + 3 years experience substitute for education
