Hillcrest Children & Family Center is seeking a Billing Director to lead the revenue cycle from credentialing through final claims adjudication. You will alert executives to potential write-offs, optimize workflows, and pursue appeals when needed to safeguard revenue.

In this hybrid role, you will manage a diverse payer mix, solve complex problems daily, and shape a modern billing department while collaborating across departments for compliant, efficient processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• 5–7 years of billing, billing management or account management experience in behavioral health, mental health, or clinic-based settings.
• Billing and coding certifications (e.g., CPB, CPC, CRCR) strongly preferred.
• Experience with behavioral health EHR systems and configuration of billing matrices preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee credentialing to ensure providers are linked to payers per specifications.
• Pre-audit claims for completeness and accuracy before billing.
• Ensure timely submission of claims with a goal of zero errors.
• Post insurance claims accurately and act as primary payer contact.
• Follow up on denials and track aging AR reports to reduce write-offs.
