Job summary

BAMSI in Brockton, MA seeks a Director of Revenue Cycle and Contract Management to lead enterprise revenue lifecycle from contract interpretation to billing and financial reporting. You will maximize revenue from DDS, DMH, MassHealth, and insurers, and partner across finance, operations, and program leadership.

Responsibilities include leading monthly closes, contract interpretation, denials resolution, and system improvements to reduce leakage and ensure GAAP-compliant revenue recognition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
• At least seven years in revenue cycle, reimbursement, billing, AR, contract finance, or revenue accounting, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience with government contracts, grants, or publicly funded human-services revenue; strong GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end revenue close for government contracts, grants, and third-party payers; provide revenue schedules to CFO and Controller.
• Reconcile services delivered, billing activity, remittances, cash receipts, AR, and general ledger revenue accounts.
• Interpret contract terms and funding provisions; support revenue timing/classification in collaboration with CFO/Controller.
• Develop estimates for earned but unbilled revenue, denials, reserves, and write-offs; ensure auditable documentation.
• Oversee end-to-end third-party billing including eligibility controls, claim submission, denials, and collections.
• Lead cross-functional partnerships to improve cash flow, reduce revenue leakage, and ensure compliant revenue recognition.
