Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager in Springfield, MA to oversee end-to-end revenue cycle activities across behavioral health and primary care lines. You will lead billing, coding, AR, denial management, and authorization staff, ensuring accurate billing and timely reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare revenue cycle with 3+ years in management.
• Deep familiarity with MassHealth, Medicare, commercial payer rules; experience in behavioral health/non-profit healthcare preferred.
• Proficiency in EHR/practice management systems, clearinghouses, claim-editing tools; advanced Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle workflows including eligibility verification, authorization, charge capture, coding, claim submission, payment posting, and collections.
• Manage claims submission to MassHealth, Medicare, Medicaid managed care, and commercial payers; set targets for clean claim rates and AR days.
• Maintain a formal denial prevention process; oversee appeals and corrective actions with operations and IT.
• Collaborate with credentialing staff to prevent revenue loss from enrollment delays; ensure CMS/Medicare/HIPAA compliance.
• Build and maintain executive revenue cycle dashboards; translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Supervise and develop billing, coding, AR, and authorization staff; drive a culture of accountability and improvement.
