Job summary

Brockton Home Health Care Agency is seeking a Billing & Revenue Cycle Coordinator to oversee billing, authorizations, and accounts receivable. This role coordinates with the external billing company to ensure accurate, timely submissions and proactive problem resolution with clinical staff.

Responsibilities include weekly billing oversight, PA tracking, and reconciliation of payments, with an emphasis on reducing denials and aging receivables.

Qualifications

• Experience with home health, healthcare billing, revenue cycle, claims, or accounts receivable is preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid/MassHealth, managed care, and commercial insurance billing processes.
• Familiarity with Prior Authorizations and payer requirements.
• Understanding of claim denials, remittance information, timely filing, and A/R aging.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to review reports and identify discrepancies.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with clinical, administrative, and external billing teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly billing activity and ensure services are billed.
• Verify scheduled vs completed services for billing readiness.
• Monitor authorizations to ensure alignment with billing.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to resolve documentation gaps.
• Maintain timely filing and accuracy across claims.
• Track aging A/R and escalation of issues to management.
• Support payment reconciliation and follow-up with the billing company.
