Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Customer Service Representative to guide patients through billing questions, explain charges, and connect them with financial assistance or insurance enrollment options. You will handle a high volume of inquiries by phone and email, ensuring accurate payments and effective follow-up.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• General knowledge of charity, bad debt and collection procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient inquiries regarding account and claim status with professional precision.
• Process secure payments and reconcile end-of-day deposits.
• Evaluate financial needs to offer payment arrangements, financial assistance, or insurance enrollment support.
• Manage the full life cycle of self-pay accounts, including monthly billing, bad debt reviews, and payment plan monitoring.
• Execute timely insurance rebilling and follow-up to resolve outstanding claim processing issues.
• Meet established productivity and quality benchmarks for patient account resolution and service delivery.
