Job summary

FMOLHS Career Portal is seeking a Revenue Cycle Operations Analyst to partner with the function line manager to drive initiatives, analyze operational metrics, and support improvements in billing, follow-up, and revenue recovery using Epic.

The role focuses on creating weekly dashboards, identifying gaps between actual results and targets, and delivering actionable insights to improve department performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in Revenue Cycle / Hospital Business Office functions (Customer Service, Billing, Follow-up).
• Certification in billing, medical office, coding and accounting can substitute for 1 year of experience (e.g., CPC, CCS).
• Critical thinking, project management, data analysis, problem solving, systems interaction process implementation.

Responsibilities

• Executes Revenue Cycle Business Office Operations and functions.
• Generates, analyzes and presents operational metrics (Billing, T Status, AR, Cash Balance, CFB, etc).
• Designs, tests, and implements new system edits or workflow changes.
• Designs, tests, and implements new processes to support regulatory or system changes.
• Identifies improvement opportunities to drive revenue and recovery by the department.
• Monitors productivity of the team to ensure efficient operations.
• Identifies time gaps in team members' work and communicates issues to management.
• Identifies process and system improvements to drive productivity toward targets.
• Other duties as assigned; general support tasks as needed.
