Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Informatics Analyst to analyze information, develop best practices, and design strategic metrics that drive operational performance and financial viability of the revenue cycle. The role requires independent analysis, timely reporting, and support for ongoing cash flow and workflow improvements across the health system.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in healthcare revenue cycle, extensive Epic EMR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience considered; master’s preferred.
• Epic certification highly desired.
• 5+ years in healthcare revenue cycle; preferred in patient financial services or revenue integrity.
• Advanced knowledge of Epic EMR is required.
• Knowledge of best-practice methodologies and project management.
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations for government payers.
• Knowledge of insurance claim processing and third-party reimbursement.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable KPIs and best practices.
• Knowledge of reimbursement and payor mix.
• Knowledge of benchmarking and productivity concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication; able to communicate across levels.
• Time management; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinking and ability to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze information and develop best practices for revenue cycle.
• Generate and present strategic information to support financial viability.
• Contribute to ongoing measurement and performance improvements for the health system.
• Provide accurate, timely analysis for projects related to financial and workflow improvements.
