Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Director, Revenue Controls to own the control environment over our order-to-cash cycle. You’ll partner with Accounting, Systems, and Internal Audit to ensure SOX 404 readiness and SOC reporting, guiding control design across revenue processes.

You will lead a team within the Revenue organization and collaborate with Product, Sales, and Legal to assess control implications for new offerings and pricing, driving audit-ready excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SOX 404 readiness at a public company.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent).
• Deep, hands-on SOX experience over revenue and order-to-cash processes.
• Experience as business-side owner on revenue system implementations and data reconciliation across the revenue stack.
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 and how contracts translate into revenue.
• Experience with consumption and subscription revenue models and high-volume data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable first-line control owner for O2C and revenue controls.
• Maintain O2C narratives, SOPs, and process maps as standards.
• Partner with Billing, AR & Collections, Deal Desk, and Revenue Accounting.
• Design and influence controls over usage capture, billing accuracy, and invoicing.
• Own the identification and treatment of key reports and IPE within revenue.
• Partner with Revenue Technology and Internal Audit on IT-dependent controls.
• Collaborate with third-party providers to obtain SOC 1 reports.
• Work with Internal Audit on scoping, walkthroughs, and remediation design.
• Engage Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Legal on new offerings for control implications.
