Job summary

Salesforce is seeking aDirector to join the management-led SOX 360 Program Office. This strategic role will translate deep US GAAP, ICFR, and PCAOB requirements into practical solutions focusing on Quote to Cash end-to-end processes and broader controls across the enterprise.

The candidate will lead a team, own end-to-end SOX readiness, and collaborate across functions to build robust controls in a fast-scaling, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related audit & accounting experience, preferably in public accounting and private industry.
• Experience leading teams and providing clear, specific performance feedback to grow others.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting a company's SOX program and implementing internal controls.
• Strong understanding of control design, operational efficiency, and related financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor to the business on a fast-evolving SOX landscape and shape process improvements for growth.
• Own SOX readiness and program maturation end-to-end with deep business knowledge.
• Lead the team as the authority for assigned process areas—own the controls, policies, and external reporting standards.
• Spot risk early, redesign controls to reduce exposure, and address deficiencies proactively.
• Maintain audit-ready SOX documentation as the single source of truth.
• Drive automation and analytics to reduce manual work while preserving control effectiveness.
• Manage external auditor relationships and present control patterns and scope.
• Mentor and grow the team with actionable feedback to develop future leaders.
