Job summary

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is hiring a Revenue Attendant in Philadelphia to keep fare devices ready for riders. You will service vending and collection equipment, coordinate maintenance, and help ensure accurate revenue reporting across multiple sites.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a CDL, and weapons certification; proficiency with Flowbird devices and GPS/GSM tools is a plus. Excellent communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ACT 235 Lethal Weapons Certification is required.
• Valid Class B (or A) CDL with clean driving record is required.
• Experience with high-tech revenue equipment preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service Fare Vending and collection devices across SEPTA areas.
• Troubleshoot Flowbird devices at regional rail parking lots.
• Close out alerts and incidents using GSM system.
• Monitor vaults and handle hand collections during events.
• Document revenue and prepare related reports.
