Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to join our Revenue Analytics team. You will develop scalable data products, models, and dashboards that power revenue forecasting, reporting, and AI initiatives.

You will lead data architecture across dbt models, metadata, and governance, and mentor analysts while collaborating with cross-functional partners to raise data quality and impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics engineering or related technical analytics role.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling, metrics design, data quality, documentation, and modern analytics engineering practices.
• Experience with BI tools and cloud warehouses (Sigma/Looker/Tableau; Snowflake; Databricks).
• Ability to lead complex, ambiguous projects and deliver durable data solutions.
• Experience designing scalable data products for multiple audiences and influencing stakeholders around architecture and product direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data product initiatives for Revenue from ambiguous problem definition through design, implementation, rollout, and adoption.
• Advance AI initiatives within the Revenue data ecosystem by identifying high-value use cases and establishing semantic, metadata, context, quality, and evaluation foundations.
• Design and build durable data products that power revenue operations, field and executive reporting, external merchant reporting, and analyst self-service.
• Set technical direction for Revenue's data layer across dbt models, metrics, semantic structures, documentation, lineage, testing, governance, and access controls.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and scale Revenue Analytics through improved data architecture and tooling.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and cross-functional partners.
