Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to support strategy, growth, and innovation within the Revenue Accounting Projects Team. You will oversee general ledger activities related to revenue, apply US GAAP, and collaborate with FP&A, SEC Reporting, IT, and Compliance.

The role emphasizes process improvements, SOX controls, and coordination with external auditors. This is a hybrid role with office days 3 per week, based in the United States, Washington area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• SOX control documentation and execution.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal process improvements in reporting and analytics.
• Assist in monthly worldwide accounting close.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for revenue and expenses.
• Coordinate with FP&A, Revenue Ops, Tax, IT, and SEC Reporting.
• Ensure SOX compliance activities and support audits.
• Deliver ad-hoc projects as needed.
