Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to support our revenue accounting strategy and delivery. You will partner with the Revenue Accounting Projects Team and cross‑functional groups across FP&A, SEC Reporting, IT and Compliance to drive process improvements and reliable close processes.

The role requires 6+ years of accounting experience, a BA in accounting, and strong Excel and analytical skills. This is a hybrid role with three days in the Seattle office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent; experience evaluated on core competencies.
• 6+ years accounting experience; tech industry and Big 4 a plus.
• Experience with SOX control documentation/execution; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal process improvements for reporting, tools, and accounting practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements in areas of responsibility.
• Assist in monthly worldwide accounting close.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for revenue and expenses.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Operations, Treasury, Tax, SEC, IT, Compliance, and International teams.
• Ensure SOX compliance activities, update documentation, and support testing.
• Deliver on ad-hoc projects and deliverables as needed.
