Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to support the Revenue Accounting Projects Team. You will lead revenue accounting initiatives, ensure US GAAP compliance, and drive process improvements across the organization.

The role partners with FP&A, SEC Reporting, IT, and Tax, and includes SOX activities with external auditors. This hybrid position requires office presence 3 days per week in Chicago, IL, and reports to the Revenue Accounting Director as part of Worldwide Controllership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent; 6+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with SOX controls and documentation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting and analytics.
• Implement process improvements across revenue accounting responsibilities.
• Assist in the monthly worldwide accounting close.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for revenue and expenses.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Operations, Tax, IT, and SEC Reporting teams.
• Oversee SOX compliance activities including controls documentation and testing.
• Deliver on ad hoc projects and objectives as needed.
