Checkr, Inc. is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to own ASC 606 revenue recognition, lead the revenue close, and partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, RevOps, and FP&A on strategic deal structures. The role emphasizes building AI-enabled tools to automate the quote-to-cash lifecycle and maintaining SOX-ready documentation.

The ideal candidate has a CPA and 6+ years of revenue accounting experience within Big 4 or industry, with strong communication skills and a bias for action.

Qualifications

• Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 with experience evaluating complex contracts and revenue structures.

Responsibilities

• Own technical revenue accounting under ASC 606 and serve as SME for complex matters.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end revenue close, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Provide strategic accounting guidance to Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, RevOps, and FP&A.
• Design, prototype, and ship AI-enabled tools to automate quote-to-cash processes.
• Draft technical accounting memos and maintain SOX-ready documentation.
• Lead high-impact revenue initiatives and cross-functional projects.
