Job summary

the company seeks a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead ASC 606 contract reviews, automate close processes, and strengthen controls. You’ll collaborate with Deal Desk, Legal, Sales, and external auditors while shaping deals before they’re signed and driving audit readiness.

You will mentor a team, own SOX controls, and advance AI-enabled routines across revenue workstreams, aligning with our growth trajectory.

Qualifications

8+ years progressive accounting experience with ASC 606 at a public or high-growth tech company.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience reviewing customer contracts and documenting technical revenue positions.
Experience automating accounting processes and controls in ERP/revenue systems.
Experience owning SOX controls and supporting audits.
Experience leading accountants or teams.

Responsibilities

Own the contract review process end-to-end and determine ASC 606 treatment.
Drive automation of revenue close processes and control design.
Partner with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to structure deals before signing.
Own the revenue control environment and audit relationships (SOX, external auditors).
Set precedents on complex revenue issues and evaluate variable consideration.
Build AI-enabled routines to reduce manual work and strengthen controls.
Model company culture and lead an inclusive high-performing team.
