Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager in Atlanta, GA to lead ASC 606 and revenue recognition initiatives for a global infrastructure services organization. This role focuses on challenging the status quo, elevating accounting practices, and strengthening internal controls while collaborating closely with senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has:

• Strong ASC 606 and revenue recognition expertise
• Public company or highly disciplined accounting environment preferred
• Ability to challenge assumptions and improve processes
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and controls
• Strong communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally
• Experience with project-based, services, engineering, consulting, telecom, construction, utility, or other complex revenue environments is helpful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 and revenue recognition experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teamsAdvanced Excel skills
• Project-based, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or service-based accounting experience preferred
