Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own revenue recognition, contract accounting, and month-end close for a growing SaaS business. You will partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer teams to ensure ASC 606 compliant processes and scalable controls.

You bring ~5+ years in revenue accounting, CPA or public accounting experience, and strong Excel and ERP skills. This remote role opens to multiple states and offers a path to impact a fast evolving product and team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• ~5+ years of progressive accounting experience with revenue focus.
• CPA or public accounting background preferred.
• Experience reviewing SaaS, software, or other complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts and determine appropriate accounting treatment for software, subscriptions, implementation, and services.
• Manage revenue-related month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams on non-standard contracts and pricing.
• Develop and maintain revenue recognition memos and technical accounting docs.
• Support forecasting and reporting on revenue trends and drivers.
• Identify opportunities to automate revenue processes and strengthen controls.
