Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own revenue recognition, contract accounting, and month-end close in a growing SaaS environment. You will partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer teams to ensure accurate, scalable revenue processes and ASC 606 compliance.

This remote role supports teams across the United States and requires a CPA or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years in revenue accounting, with ERP, billing, and CRM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years in progressive accounting with revenue focus.
• CPA or public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience reviewing SaaS, software, or other complex contracts.
• Experience with month-end close and revenue processes.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts and determine accounting treatment for software, subscriptions, and services.
• Manage revenue-related month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams on non-standard contracts and pricing.
• Develop and maintain technical accounting memos and documentation.
• Support forecasting and revenue reporting with visibility into trends and drivers.
• Identify opportunities to automate revenue processes and strengthen controls.
• Assist with audits and provide revenue-related documentation.
• Act as internal SME on revenue accounting and ASC 606.
