Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and scale revenue accounting in our remote-friendly setup. You will manage revenue recognition, contract accounting, month-end close, and essential reconciliations for our cloud ERP SaaS platform serving custom manufacturers.

Partner with Finance, Sales, Legal and Customer teams to ensure accurate, scalable revenue processes aligned with ASC 606, drive process improvements, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ~5+ years in progressive accounting with revenue focus.
• ~ CPA or public accounting experience.
• ~ Experience reviewing SaaS or software contracts.
• ~ Experience managing revenue through month-end/quarter-end close.
• ~ Strong Excel and financial systems.
• ~ Experience with ERP, billing, CRM, and revenue automation systems.
• ~ Experience supporting scaling or PE-backed organizations.
• ~ Familiarity with multi-element arrangements and variable consideration.

Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts for revenue treatment (software, subscription, services).
• Manage revenue month-end and quarter-end close, entries, reconciliations.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance on non-standard contracts and pricing.
• Develop and maintain revenue documentation and memos.
• Support forecasting with revenue trends, timing, and drivers.
• Identify automation opportunities in revenue processes.
• Support annual audits with revenue documentation.
• Strengthen internal controls and audit readiness.
• Serve as SME on ASC 606.
