Job summary

INNERGY, a cloud-based ERP provider for custom manufacturers, seeks a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and scale revenue accounting processes as the business grows. You will handle ASC 606 revenue recognition, contract accounting, and month-end close, working with Sales, Legal, and Finance to ensure accurate, scalable processes across software, subscriptions, and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with meaningful revenue accounting experience.
• CPA or public accounting experience.
• Experience in SaaS or recurring-revenue business.
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience reviewing SaaS, software, or other complex contracts.
• Experience managing revenue through month-end and quarter-end close.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Review customer contracts and determine accounting treatment for software, subscriptions, implementations, and services.
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close for revenue, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain revenue and deferred revenue reporting and investigate variances.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams on non-standard contracts and pricing.
• Develop and maintain accounting memos and close processes.
• Support forecasting and provide revenue trend visibility.
• Identify opportunities to automate revenue processes and controls as the company scales.
• Support annual audits with revenue documentation.
• Strengthen internal controls for audit readiness.
