Grant Thornton is seeking a Director of Revenue Accounting to establish and maintain global revenue accounting policies, ensuring ASC606 compliance and CECL considerations across jurisdictions.

The role involves leadership in acquisitions, finance transformation, and financial reporting improvements for the Grant Thornton global platform, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and process automation where applicable.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in revenue accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS for professional services revenue recognition.
• CPA or equivalent certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain revenue accounting policies in compliance with ASC606, CECL and related guidance.
• Develop procedures bridging local GAAP/IFRS to U.S. GAAP for revenue recognition across jurisdictions.
• Partner with billing functions across jurisdictions and systems.
• Provide revenue accounting guidance to internal leaders.
• Prepare month-end schedules, management reporting packs and analyses.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close for revenue-related entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and GL integrity in revenue accounts.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and reviews.
