Job summary

Grant Thornton seeks a Director of Revenue Accounting to establish and maintain global revenue policies and drive financial reporting for the advisory platform.

The role requires ASC606, CECL, and strong U.S. GAAP/IFRS expertise, with cross-jurisdiction collaboration and audit support responsibilities.

The position features a hybrid work model with in-person attendance and a base salary range of $184,000–$240,000, reflecting experience and location, with CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of revenue accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS in revenue recognition.
• Experience with SAP FICO and professional services modules is a plus.
• CPA or equivalent certification is required or preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain revenue accounting policies compliant with ASC606 and CECL.
• Bridge local GAAP/IFRS to U.S. GAAP for revenue recognition across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with billing and accounting systems to enable revenue accounting.
• Support and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare technical memos and documentation for revenue positions.
• Partner with external auditors during audits and reviews.
