Job summary

Universal Pure is seeking an Accounting Associate to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition, invoicing, and reconciliation. You will process customer invoices, verify entries in NetSuite, and interact with site General Managers to support financial operations.

The role emphasizes high-volume billing, attention to detail, and collaboration across finance and operations. A accounting degree and experience in the food industry are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food industry accounting experience preferred.
• Previous revenue experience preferred.
• NetSuite experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contracts to determine appropriate revenue treatment
• Review WMS item setups to ensure contract terms are applied
• Process, verify, and reconcile customer invoices
• Reconcile system reports with balances
• Review GL mapping from WMS by accounts and cost centers
• Apply incoming funds to invoices and resolve discrepancies with customers
• Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
• Support system implementations for high-volume billing and revenue processes
• Provide monthly revenue-related reports to site General Managers
