Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Lecanto, FL is seeking a team member to support an exceptional member shopping experience by processing and sorting damaged or defective merchandise and handling returns. You will help reduce salvage and obtain vendor return authorizations while re-wrapping sellable items.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Process damaged, defective and returned merchandise following salvage, donation, vendor return, reverse logistic, hazardous waste and destroy procedures.
• Maintain correct stock/inventory status for damaged, defective and returned merchandise.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors and package ships merchandise returns per vendor policies.
• Conduct daily club safety walks and escalate findings to supervisor.
• Support inventory count processes as assigned.
• Keep department organized, clean and compliant with policies.
