Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in Marlborough, MA is seeking a team member to support the member shopping experience by processing and sorting damaged or defective and returned merchandise. You will obtain return authorizations, restock and re-wrap sellable items, and help maintain a safe, clean club environment.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Process damaged or defective merchandise following salvage, donation, vendor return, reverse logistics, hazardous waste and destroy procedures.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors and process merchandise returns per vendor policies.
• Re-wraps sellable merchandise using appropriate seal and shrink-wrap packaging guidelines.
• Maintain correct stock/inventory status for damaged, defective and returned merchandise.
• Conduct daily club safety walks and support inventory count processing as assigned.
