Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Middleburg Heights, OH is hiring to support an exceptional member shopping experience by processing damaged/defective merchandise and handling returns, rewrapping sellable items, and coordinating with vendors.

Expect a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and teamwork; daily tasks include inventory control, safety walks, and enforcing club standards for a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and be on one's feet for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Process damaged/defective merchandise and returns following salvage, vendor, and donation procedures.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors and process returns per policy.
• Maintain accurate stock/inventory status for damaged, defective, and returned items.
• Assist with inventory counts and club safety walks.
• Wrap sellable merchandise using seal/shrink-wrap guidelines.
• Keep the department organized and clean and follow safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
