Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Returns Processor in Lebanon, PA. The role operates on the 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am, Monday through Thursday, and pays $17.95 per hour with a $0.50 shift premium. Responsibilities include opening and verifying returned merchandise, scanning items, and placing freight in proper locations.

Required: ability to stand for long periods. Preferred: warehouse experience, material handling cert, and forklift operation experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product, may require powered equipment.
• Verify the correct item is in original packaging for scanning.
• Ensure accurate processing of all freight using the scanning system.
• Identify items requiring special handling or separation (e.g. hazardous material).
• Ensure scanned freight reaches the correct destination (slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets safely.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Role Purpose

Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.

Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product. May require using powered equipment.


• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.


• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.


• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).


• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).


• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.


• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.


• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred


• Material handling equipment certification, preferred


• Six months warehouse experience, preferred


• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred
