Job summary

Imperial Brady is seeking an Operations Admin in Kansas City, MO to support returns processing, inspections, and warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment. You will use RF scanners and a WMS to update records and coordinate with the warehouse team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED or equivalent.
• Warehouse, returns, receiving, or inventory experience preferred (often 6 months–2 years).
• Familiarity with RF scanners, basic computer skills, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift/move product (commonly 40–50+ lbs).
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with warehouse equipment (pallet jack, etc.) is frequently a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process returns (including driver check-ins and verification of materials returning after deliveries).
• Inspect returned products for condition, completeness, and accuracy against return documentation/packing slips.
• Sort and categorize returns by condition (clean/restockable vs. dirty/damaged/defective) and determine disposition (restock, vendor return, scrap, credit, etc.).
• Use RF scanners / WMS to update return sheets, identify products, print labels, and enter transactions.
• Place cases/product in the proper staging areas and coordinate physical handling/storage.
• Process related invoices or return documentation.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damage, shortages, or issues.
• Create FTL/LTL shipments in Corsair.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe returns area.
• Collaborate with warehouse, operations, and sometimes customer service teams.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed (inventory support, general housekeeping, etc.).
