National Car Rental is hiring a Return Agent at Sacramento International Airport. You will greet customers, handle the rental return process, process charges and receipts, and guide guests to the airport terminal.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, logging belongings, maintaining an organized lot, and supporting continuous improvement through attendance and training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service, retail, or administrative support experience.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers using prescribed dialogue on arrival.
• Remind customers to check for personal belongings.
• Identify items found in vehicles and log them in lost-and-found.
• Advise on rental charges and provide accurate receipts.
• Provide transportation information to the airport terminal.
• Thank customers using prescribed dialogue.
• Inquire about service, document any dissatisfaction.
• Check vehicles for damage and direct to the counter for reporting.
• Determine if a vehicle is returned with a full tank of gas.
• Complete service alerts for mechanical or body damage.
• Identify and move system-held vehicles to proper lots.
• Tag vehicles flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance.
• Keep the lot organized for easy access and flow.
• Seek to improve performance through self-assessment and training.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Return Agent. The Return Agent will provide superior, friendly, efficient service during all aspects of the rental car process as it applies to this position. Assist all customers with the rental return process. Create and maintain a friendly, efficient environment for all customers. Assist in making all transactions quick and efficient.

This pay for this position starts at $19 / hour

This position is located at the Sacramento International Airport (SMF), North Natomas, CA 95837.

Schedule

• 10am - 6pm schedules will include weekend days

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

• Greet all customers using prescribed, appropriate dialogue as they arrive on the lot
• Remind customer to check for personal belongings
• Identify any items found in the vehicle with a unit number, date, time and turn into lost and found
• Advise and review rental charges; and provide an accurate receipt to the customer
• Provide information in a professional and courteous manner regarding transportation to the airport terminal
• Thank customers using the prescribed dialogue
• Inquire about service, satisfaction and document dissatisfaction
• Discreetly check vehicle for damage on incoming vehicles and direct customer to counter for completion of damage/loss report
• Use of proper statement to determine if vehicle is being returned with full tank of gas
• Complete a service alert for any mechanical and or body damage communicated by the customers.
• Identify vehicles, which are on system hold for turnback, time or mileage, recall, or any other special lock and verify their movement to the proper lot location
• Identify and tag vehicles that have been flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance and verify their movement to the proper lot location
• Keep lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
