Job summary

Enerflex is seeking a Project Controls Specialist for the AMS Retrofit team in Houston to support cost management across retrofit projects. You will partner with the Director of Business Development and project managers to produce weekly/monthly client and internal reports, monitor budgets in SAP/iMACS, and assist with change orders and cash flow projections.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards while ensuring accurate

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ related Project Controls experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or Business; degree may be substituted by relevant experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with SAP or other industry-standard enterprise financial system.
• Experience with part numbering and Master Data requirements, including Classifications and Characteristics.
• Proficiency in MS Office products – Advanced in Excel; Intermediate in Word, Visio, PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English, strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with large spreadsheets and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director Business Development and Retrofit Project Managers with weekly and monthly reports.
• Support reporting related to SOX Controls.
• Work with Project Managers to implement, monitor and analyze project budgets in SAP/iMACS.
• Assist with proposal estimating, cashflow projections and change order analysis.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets from as-sold contract.
• Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of project costs and budgets.
• Perform cost management reporting, variance analysis and cost mitigation.
• Track Prime Contract payment milestones, invoicing and change orders.
• Maintain vendor back-charge logs and forecasts.
• Assist procurement with subcontract management and pricing analysis.
• Expedite project-critical equipment and materials.
• Support risk reviews and status reporting.
