Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support the AMS Retrofit team in Houston. You will focus on cost management, reporting, and budgeting across Retrofit projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal controls and client requirements.

The role requires 4+ years in project controls, strong SAP experience, and advanced Excel skills. You will collaborate with project managers and procurement teams, contributing to forecast accuracy and cost mitigation

Qualifications

4+ years' project controls experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management/Finance/Business (or equivalent experience).
3+ years SAP experience or similar ERP system.
Proficient in Excel; strong data analysis and budgeting.
Fluent English with strong communication; teamwork.

Responsibilities

Assist Director Business Development and Retrofit Project Managers with weekly and monthly reports for client and internal departments.
Work with directors to implement, monitor and analyze project budgets in SAP/iMACS (EDM).
Assist with proposal estimating, cashflow projections and change orders analysis.
Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets from as-sold contract including scope changes.
Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of project costs and budgets; perform variance analysis and cost mitigation.
