Job summary

Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers in Strongsville, OH is hiring a Retread Technician. You will join the retread team to inspect tires, buff casings, repair and apply new tread, cure tires, and perform final inspections.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn on the job.
• Experience in manufacturing or general labor is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread suitability.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread and prepare surface.
• Remove embedded objects and repair the casing as needed.
• Build tire by applying new tread and curing the retread.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
