Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking teammates for our retread plants. You will help extend tire life by inspecting tires for retread suitability, buffing casings, removing defects, repairing with patch or cement, and applying new tread before curing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess if they can be retread.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing.
• Repair the casing with rubber cement or a patch before applying new tread.
• Build the tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application.
• Final inspection to ensure safety and quality.
