Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in Leslie, Arkansas, is seeking a Retread Technician to refurbish and restore used commercial tires, applying new tread to extend lifespan while meeting safety standards and performance criteria.

You will maintain a safe, clean shop, inspect tires, patch as needed, paint and stack tires, buff rubber, document repair details on work orders, and assist with loading and unloading. This role requires physical effort and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to read and verify work orders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Receive tire at a workable height hanging on a hook.
• Perform visual inspections on tires and apply patches as needed for quality assurance.
• Paint and stack tires with mechanical assistance.
• Clean up and buff off excess rubber on finished tires.
• Use hand tools effectively to envelope tires.
• Accurately document repair information on work orders.
• Load and unload tires in the chamber as required.
• Additional tasks as assigned
