Pomp's Tire Service in Wisconsin is seeking a Retread Technician to refurbish and restore used commercial tires, extending their lifespan while meeting safety and performance standards. You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced shop, following established procedures and quality checks to ensure reliable tire performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Receive tire at a workable height hanging on a hook
• Perform visual inspections on tires and apply patches as needed for quality assurance
• Paint and stack tires with mechanical assistance
• Clean up and buff off excess rubber on finished tires
• Use hand tools effectively to envelope tires
• Accurately document repair information on work orders
• Load and unload tires in the chamber as required
• Additional tasks as assigned
