Job summary

Baxters North America in Kentucky is seeking a Retort Operator to oversee the cooking process, ensuring complete sterilization and the highest quality of product. You will load and unload trays, access menus on the LCD screen to load recipes, schedule workloads, and monitor pressure (PSI), temperature (F), and water flow.

You’ll log batches and verify accuracy at shift end. Experience in manufacturing and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trays into the retort oven.
• Access menus on the LCD screen to load the appropriate recipe.
• Schedule workloads for the retort ovens.
• Monitor gauges for pressure (PSI), temperature (°F), and water flow; adjust as needed.
• Log batch start/stop times, trays loaded, and counts in the log sheet.
