The role requires attention to detail, safe operation of equipment, and accurate shift logging. The position involves loading and unloading trays, loading recipes, and monitoring PSI, temperature and water flow, with compliance to training and SWES requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Training required as listed in the Training Register.

Responsibilities

• Accessing menus on an LCD screen to load the appropriate recipe on the retort oven.
• Loading/unloading trays of food into the retort oven.
• Scheduling workload in loading the retort ovens.
• Overseeing the cooking process by watching the gauges for PSI, temperature, and water flow, adjusting as needed.
• Logging every batch (start/stop times), loading number of trays in the retort log and the count sheet for computer entry.
• Verifying the log sheet throughout the shift and at shift end for accuracy.
• Perform other duties as listed on SWES and/or training register.
